Left pair of engines Pratt and Whitney JT3D-3B. Those engines were unable to deliver pressurized air for aircraft systems, so mechanically driven compressors were installed on upper side of eng 2 and 3 pylons.
Manufactured under number 18159/235 in 1961. First operator Eastern Airlines (N8705), then Conair of Scandinavia (OY-DSL) and Atlanta Skylarks (N7229L). Last flew by Continental Aviation in India. This company left him to his fate at the airport in Nagpur, India. Therea are still clearly visible colours of Conair of Scandinavia, with the title Atlanta Skylarks and logo of Continental Aviation.
