The former YAK-42D TulparAir, in 2013 rebuild by Novosibirsk SibNIA to flying meteorological laboratory Yak-42LL. Operator is SibNIA, owner Central Aerological Observatory (ROSHYDROMET).
Advanced modernisation of An-2 from Novosibirsk SiBNIA. Engine is Honneywell Garrett TPE-331-12. Plane has new composite wing and very good characteristic: max. speed 300km/h, ceiling 7000m and stall speed 60km/h, or 35km/h with flaps :) For take-off and landing only 50m long runway.
