The first Czech Air Force W-3A Sokol helicopter in new c/s arrived last Friday to Plzen - Line homebase. The new red-white colours were applied during overhaul works in Poland as the helicopter will primary serve Air Rescue Services and Search and Rescue missions in the region.

L410 UVP crashed in Kamina, DR Congo on June 21st. The machine, c/n 841217, started its service in USSR and was last operated by Karibu Airways as 9Q-CEU. The overloaded airplane cartwheeled over its nose shortly after take-off, killing one of 25 people on board.
