Wizz Air has announced the first new destination it will offer with a direct flight from Prague from the start of the 2026/2027 winter schedule. Direct flights to Poprad, Slovakia, will return to the capital. The Hungarian low-cost carrier is taking over the route that was previously served by Czech Airlines with its ATR turboprop aircraft.
The first flight from Prague to Poprad will take place on October 25, 2026. Wizz Air will offer three flights per week in the winter schedule. The route will operate year-round. In the schedule for next summer, it will operate two flights per week.
The following table lists the sixteen destinations and flight frequencies that Wizz Air is planning from Prague for the upcoming winter schedule. This is four more than last year's winter schedule.
