Sweden Air Force visit to Kubinka airbase in 1972 -- at the height of Cold War. Host unit was 234 giap which flew MiG-21FL at the time. In MiG's cockpit seats Flygvapnet Chef Gen-Lt Stig Norén while Gen.-Col Jefimov (double HSU and famous WWII pilot) makes a notes

There were TWO MiG-21FL
one was license-built Indian variant
but earlier 234 giap at Kubinka used some small-scale-series variant which was named FL too
and photo shows this early FL
Verze FL se vyráběla licenčně v Indii a byla to PFM, která měla kryt kabiny otevíraný do strany. Zde je vidět kryt otevřený směrem dopředu ( F a nebo PF). Pokud se nepletu.
