The Alouette II here is not from the Luftwaffe (Air Force), it is actually from the Heer (Army). It even says on the side. Too bad you can't see the Alouette from the front, but it was in the 90's an educational aircraft for army pilots and was used up to 2006. Outside training it was msotly replaced by the BO 105 ... The Heeresfliegerverbindungs- und Aufklärungsstaffel 300 in Mendig may have used it longer, don't remember :D
