Korean Air B747-8i to Prague summer 2016

Korean Air will be flying Boeing 747-8i summer 2016 as announced Today. This type will operate their service from Seoul to Prague in period Jul 1st to Sep 30th 2016.

I know that OK is owned by KE, but still i cannot imaging there is that much demand for flights to ICN.

I mean OK is already flying with an A330 to ICN, even at AMS which has 5 times more passengers we only get 2 flights a day, KL with a 744 Combi and KE with an A330 and a 74F.

Commercial reason... High demand for local market, very close cooperation with local carrier Czech Airlines (owned partly by Korean Air), Korean Air is very well established in Prague, without competitors...

just explsin to me why KE would fly the 748 to PRG and not to AMS for example ?
