At the end of September Syrian Air opened after Amsterdam scheduled flights from Damascus also to Vienna and Copenhagen. But as its own aircraft cannot operate into the EU, it uses aircraft wet-leased from Heston Airlines, predominantely LY-MAU, which received also simplified branding of Syrian Air.
