The capital of Panama has 3 airports. The former US military airbase Howard is today called Panama Pacifico International Airport and serves mainly as a hub for low-cost carrier Wingo, the only other airline serving it is Aeroregional from Ecuador. Noteworthy is the ATC tower located in the hills on the opposite side above the airport.
On the edge of the Panama Pacifico International Airport (sometimes called also Panama City / Balboa or before Howard Air Base) this DC-3 rests with slowly fading title Aereo Vias Centroamericanas S. A., even the internet does not say much about it in these colours. Probably it is not in airworthy condition, however during my visit some people were walking around. However, as at this airport one is sent away from the fence always and all the time, I could not find out any details.

After a really long time the aircraft type MD-11 visited Bratislava today, the cargo version of Western Global Airlines will transport cargo for US Army tomorrow.

But in the Caribbean Saab 340s still soldier on with passengers between islands, as is the case with this EZ Air example, its operator recently omitted the letter E from its name.
This Boeing 757-200F on MIAT Mongolian Airlines visited Ostrava for the second time on 13.-14.5.2024, a reason for me to visit them again. Original departure time 8:00 in beautiful light was rescheduled to 15:20 due to some airspace reasons and when it started to move for departure with assigned CTOT 16:02 I survived maximum stress due to a large cloud covering sun on TWY E right in the most important moment...
The first Boeing 787-9 in the fleet of Austrian Airlines visited Bratislava today on 5 training flights, for the moment it is all white without any carrier markings.

During whole May every Wednesday and Friday shall A340-600 of European Cargo make intermediate stop at Vienna on its route Haikou-Bournemouth. First two flights were in bad weather, so I decided to catch this rare aircraft during its 3rd rotation despite high May sun and some clouds.

Winair has its seat on the famous Sint Maarten island, but its pair of ATR-42s operates mainly from Curacao to the main base and also to Aruba and Bonaire.
Venezuelan carrier Avior Airlines used to operate also to Miami in the USA, however thanks to catastrophic economic situation in its home country it now operates only domestic flights and makes infrequent visits to Bogota and Curacao. This ERJ-190 of SkyHigh Dominicana carries interesting livery. Originally its basic colour was white and the company logo on the tail has been in the old style, now it was repainted into basic grey colour and it has a new style logo on the tail, while on the fuselage the old style logo has been retained. It is unknown to me whether the reason for logo style change has something to do with the fact, that the original logo resembled the one of the bankrupt Slovak operator SkyEurope Airlines...
This A321neo of French airline La Compagnie brought today ice-hockey team from the USA from New York-Newark to Bratislava, it later departed empty to Milan-Malpensa.
