L410 UVP-E20 with the new GE H80-200 engines and AV-725 propellers was successfully certified by EASA a few days ago. The new engines offer more power while maintaning their dimensions and weight. This variant allows using higher-positioned airports and shorter runways, better cruise speed (405 km/h) and range (1520 km), fuel consumption lower by 5 per cent and the time between overhauls is prolonged by 20 per cent.

Italian Air One leaving easyJet and Czech Airlines to operate Prague - Milan Malpensa flights. There is last Air One Wednesday rotation on this route today, remaining Monday, Friday and Sunday till 26.05.2013. All others Milan flights of Italian carrier are cancelled from this date. Pisa - Prague and Venice - Prague flights are not affected at the moment.

The contract selling a 44 % stake in CSA Czech Airlines to Korean Air was signed in Prague today. CSA will lease an A330-300 and use it mainly on the Prague-Seoul route twice a week since June 1st. Both Korean Air and ÄŒSA have already fine-tuned their timetables to allow better code-sharing for over a dozen destinations both in Europe and ni the Asian Pacific region.
