The shot was taken at the Aviation Fair just before the plane's takeoff for the Air Show. I wanted to create a full motion blur of the propeller using a slower shutter speed, right when another passing aircraft, a Let C-11, happened to enter the frame.

For a private event celebrating 30 years of Motorflugunion Klosterneuburg society this DC-3 manufactured in 1942 was invited for the weekend 12-14 June 2026. It has its homebase in Grenchen (Switzerland). It was accompanied by Beech 18 (in the background).
