There used to be a Fokker factory at Schiphol-Est. Today it has been replaced by the Fokker Logistics Park offering warehouse and office space. It is hard to guess whether the exhibited Fokker F27 Friendship promotes the productive past or the logistical presence of this area.
This F27 c/n 10414 made its first flight on September 4, 1969, as PH-FON out of Schiphol. On September 29, 1969, it was delivered to Korean Airlines as HL5209. In 1980 it was sold to Icelandair, with registration TF-FLO, named ´Arfari´. In 1992 it was stored at Maastricht-Aachen Airport, named Maastricht Beek at that time. It was delivered to CityLink Airwas as VT-ETE but returned after one year. Registered to PH-FON till it was sold to WDL where it got its current registration. Now serving as gateguard.
