Following the end of World War II, the Netherlands ordered 56 Tiger Moths from Great Britain for renewed basic training purposes. PG-712/A2, manufactured in 1944, was delivered to the Royal Netherlands Air Force in July 1946 and subsequently sold to Belgium in January 1948 (registered as OO-DJU). The plane returned to the Netherlands in 2000 and was restored to its original 1946 configuration between 2003 and 2006.
