This Malaysian B777-200 crashed over Donetsk region at Ukraine (roughly 50 km from Russian border) today, 17.07.2014. The aircraft was on scheduled MH 17 flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. All 280 passengers and 15 members of the crew on board died.
Aircraft damaged 8.3.2011 in runway excursion on landing. This photo was taken during dismantling wing to fit ground transport to Czech Republic in June 2012. Repair works finished a year later and plane returned into duty as OK-MER.
