A J Torr Investments Ltd. DHC-1 was first aircraft designed at Canadian subsidiary of British planemaker de Havilland. First flight on May 22th 1946 at Downview airport near Toronto, where 217 examples were built. Aditionaly 1000 frames were built at UK by parent company de Havilland and 66 in Portugal.
22.03. Whiskey Golf Yankee ready for ferry flight to paintshop prior return to lessor. Built in December 1991, started career with British Airways, by CSA since June 2004. It was on a few ACMI lease, e.g. by Adria Airways, MyAir (Venezia), SAS (Oslo), Danube Wings (Poprad) a Nayzak Air in Libya.
Sn 21035/256 bulit in 1975 for TAP (CS-TJD), but most of its life spent with Pakistan International Airways. It is stored at Kuala Lumpur now, still wearing PIA colours.
Main entry door of ATR42. Door is kept in closed position by six bolts which extends to door frame. Bolts on left side are mechanically secured by another handles which are connected to mechanical closed position green handles.
29.01. Another aircraft on OLT route from Gdansk is this SaaB 340A. Built in February 1989, previously operated by Brit Air (F-GHMK), Air Botnia (OH-SAF) and Lagunair (EC-IRR).
