A Curtiss P-40A Warhawk at Luke Field, Arizona, 1942. The mechanics at Luke asked for and received permission to paint a sharks mouth on the aircraft to honor the American Volunteer Group, or who were more commonly known as the “The Flying Tigers.”

Zažime - pripomeňme si s touto cennou fotografiou / Vďaka Internetu, Wikipedia®, Military Documentary Channel a videu p Grega Gibsona / časť z histórie 2. svetovej vojny, keď tie veľké a odvážne osobnosti z USAF - Flying Tigers bojovali v Ázii proti Japoncom. Časť adrenalínu môžeme zažiť z pohľadu súčasného diváka, no i z kokpitu P-40 Warhawk v súboji s japonským Zerom na airshow 2012 v USA:
