To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of civil aviation era at Košice Airport, Czech Airlines (ČSA) will dispatch its Airbus A320 registered OK-HEU from Prague to Košice on Thursday, April 11. Flight OK1924 departs from Prague at 17:25 and after a stay in Košice between 18:35 and 20:05, it returns at 21:20. The ticket price for a one-way flight from Prague to Košice or vice versa is 80 EUR (approx. 2020 CZK) with carry-on baggage, or 105 EUR (approx. 2696 CZK) with checked baggage, including all fees and taxes. The flight is operated by Košice Airport in cooperation with Czech Airlines.

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, it will be 100 years since the historically first regular flight landed at the then Košice Airport, located between today's Južná trieda and the railway line within the city of Košice. It was the regular route of Czechoslovak State Airlines (ČSA) Prague – Bratislava – Košice, which also marked the beginning of civil aviation operations from Košice.

Czech Airlines operates a fleet of two Airbus A320s, with the younger one (registration OK-IOO) currently leased to the Canadian carrier Air Transat in North America, where it bears the registration C-GEXI. ÄŒSA operates two routes - from Prague to Paris and Madrid. The airline's future plans depend on the delivery of new aircraft. At the moment, the company is awaiting the delivery of four Airbus A220-300 aircraft, two of which will be available by the end of this year and the remaining two in the first half of 2025.
