  • This prototype of the military variant of the famous plane was beautifully restored by SimlyFin based in Staré Město. Restoration finished by the museum enthusiasts in the Slovácký aeroklub hanger. Before the conversion, this Z-137T was registered OK-PJD. Found in Hungary in August 2016, partly dismounted, in a very bad shape. Rolled out to its new career on June 24th, 2017, now an exhibit in the Kunovice aviation museum.

  • Planes Of Fame, Valle, AZ. The Pratt & Whitney R-4360 engines from a Boeing B-50 Superfortress, most probably the “Lucky Lady II“, whose fuselage is stored at Planes Of Fame, Chino, CA. This was the first plane to go around the globe iwth aerial re-fueling only. The flight back in 1949 took 94 hours and one minute.

  • About 12 km before the Greek-Albanian border crossing of Kakavia, near Delvinaki village, this very well-preserved Starfighter of the Greek Air Force appeared on the road. This aircraft first flown as 22 + 19 at the Luftwaffe, and then served at 336 squadrons at the Araxos base.
