"The outcome of the negotiations did not meet our expectations, which is why we have decided not to accept the offer. We will now adhere to the philosophy of a holding arrangement for the company. I am convinced that, at this moment, that path would be of greater benefit to the company,” said the Chairman of the Management Board and President of CSA, Miroslav Dvořák. By this decision, the company’s management confirms the long-term plan to head towards a holding arrangement of CSA. The temporary Cluj based aircraft service morning and evening routes to Bucharest Baneasa, 3 weekly day flights both to Paris Beauvais and Rome and Sunday Bucharest - Arad - Valencie service. 01.03.2010 23:21 German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (BFU) released first information, related to OK-ACH registered Time Air Cessna 550, departed Prague at 20:08 on 14.02.2010 for a ferry flight to Karlstad. At 20:19, the aircraft's radar signal vanished from the monitors of the Air Traffic Service Provider. The crash site was found during the night close to the village Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna in the area of the mountain Großen Zschirnstein, Saxony. In the following few days rescue work was under way during which the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) were recovered. Analysis of the Cockpit Voice Recorder showed evidence that shortly before the crash an aerobatics manoeuvre (barrel roll) was initiated. The aircraft was neither designed nor approved for such manoeuvres. The BFU issued safety recommendations, that the CAA-CZ responsible for air operators within the Czech Republic should arrange for an inspection of the involved air operator's aircraft in regard to structural overload and it should determine actions for the improvement of the air operator's Quality Management System and the Safety Culture. The investigation into the accident by the BFU is still in progress. 01.03.2010 09:12 Wizz Air would reschedule daily Prague - Rome flights from Ciampino to Fiumicino airport from 28.03.2010. 28.02.2010 15:55 Prague Airport’s passenger figures in January 2010 showed an 6,1 % improvement when compared with the volumes recorded in the same period of the last year. But the 689 454 handled passengers are keep behind 2008 (754 932) and 2007 (710 023) numbers. The improved volumes was achieved in spite of further decrease of the overall aircraft movements by 5 %. With an increase by 11,6 %, full service and network airlines were the key drivers of the passenger traffic growth. Even the number of transfer passengers raised by immense 39,9 %. Low cost airlines reported a slight decline by 1,4 %, while charter carriers decreased most significantly - by 17,6 %.
