11.10.2014 16:00 | Travel Service planes heading for Canada as every winter

Travel Service are going to help Sunwing Airlines this winter as usually. Several Travel Service planes and crews will be leased to Sunwing Airlines to fly from their Canadian bases in Toronto and Montreal during the off-season time in the Czech Republic. Eleven Czech aircraft are going to be positioned to Northern America until half of December, starting with the OK-TVH B737-800 that left today at 10 a.m. Some airplanes are dry leased - the leaseholder is the operator and the planes will be entered into the Canadian registry (OK-TVE/TVH/TVG/TVJ/TVK/TVP). The others are wet leased - the lessor stays in the role of the operator and the Czech registrations will be used (OK-TVF/TVM/TVR/TVS/TVT).

10.10.2014 11:41 | Volotea to open second route to Prague, this time from Bordeaux

The low-cost Volotea Airlines have already been flying their B717-200s between French Nantes and Prague for three years and now add another route - Bordeaux in southwestern France will be connected with Prague twice a week from 17.04. till 04.09.2015 (every Mo and Fr). The ticket prices start at EUR17.99 one way, only available for some Monday flights towards the end of the summer timetable. The usual price is EUR45.99 or EUR65.99 per leg (for Supervolotea members). The Nantes-Prague flights are planned 2 times a week in Summer 2015, 4 pairs of flights during April and May. The flights are also planned for the period between 12.12.2014 and 4.1.2015.

03.10.2014 07:46 | Flydubai as new airline for Prague and Bratislava

Airlines expect a growth in passenger numbers on the Prague-UAE flights this winter and the low-cost Flydubai is entering the market. Four weekly flights from Dubai (Terminal 2) to Prague are planned since 05.12.2014 (Tu, Th, Fr, Su), flown by their Boeing 737-800s. Prague-Ruzyne is becoming the single European airport with both Emirates and Flydubai regular routes - a setting usual in the Gulf, India, Sri Lanka, Maledives and in some African countries. Both Flydubai and Emirates also fly to Istanbul and Moscow, however using different airports. Another new Flydubai route leads to Bratislava, with flights scheduled for every Tuesday and Saturday, commencing on Dec 6th.
